Theory~Practice
Our principles and methods have been inspired by a vibrant community of complexity science pioneers and honed in practical real-world consulting engagements. We move well beyond focus groups and abstract surveys, focusing on behaviors in context and in real-time. Look over the nine principles of Liberating Structures here.

We work fluidly, back and forth between emerging theory and practice. We are action-oriented theorists, often acting our way into new thinking. Keith calls himself a “structured improvisationalist.”

Big, bold initiatives that address entangled, seemingly intractable problems are a good fit.  These are often challenges that require nearly “everyone” to change. Though the scope of the challenge looms large, we often need only a small group to get started.
