Seeds of Compassion
A “Spiritual Olympics” Comes to Seattle
April 11-15, 2008
Anchored by the deep wisdom of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, this community-focused event celebrated and explored the relationships, programs and tools that nurture and empower children, families and communities to be compassionate members of society. Each of the five days provided parents, educators, business, philanthropists, and community leaders with an opportunity to better understand the real benefits of compassion, and concrete steps on how to bring compassion into their lives.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu were amazing. Like many others, I was strongly attracted to their goodness and depth of compassion in the face of despair. I hope the story of graphically recording the event shares some of the love, forgiveness, and insight generated over these five glorious days.
